Head for the residence Les Bastides de Fayence, in one of the most beautiful parts of France in Provence, for sunny holidays, dedicated to relaxation and lazing around. Located in Tourrettes, your Provence holiday residence welcomes you in the most charming little house: blue shutters, turquoise swimming pool, palm trees, traditional furniture and warm colours in the bedding, without forgetting the terrace for breakfast. The perfect postcard landscape for a stay lulled by the French southern accent!
Fayence is heaven! But even better, because you will enjoy a holiday home, between 36 and 67 m², equipped with all modern conveniences, with a few extras. You will be housed in a charming Provencal house with a small garden or terrace and decorated with a pergola. It's the perfect place to come and unwind during the holidays.
On the programme, cicada concerts and walks in the surrounding villages with the scent of lavender. And in your holiday apartment in Provence, we have thought of everything:
No less than nine hilltop villages make up the Fayence region. Among them, Tourrettes, which hosts the residence Les Bastides de Fayence. It is truly a paradise for nature lovers and beautiful panoramas, with Marcel Pagnol-style landscapes and thyme and rosemary plants growing everywhere. The peaceful waters of Lake St. Cassien continue to seduce travellers arriving in the region. With its turquoise blue colour, its nautical activities and its shores that smell of warm sand, it has nothing to envy the beaches of the Caribbean.
The Pont des Tuves, the Defens Wood and the Siagne Gorges will also delight hiking enthusiasts. The Siagne does win you over! The enchanting ruins overlooking its crystal-clear waters compare with the fairy-tale scenery.
Afterwards, take a tour of Tourrettes, a pretty hamlet typical of the South of France, with small cobbled streets, yellow broom, cicadas and Provencal people taking a nap (a tradition in the region): the perfect place to meet up and relax during a well-deserved stay in a holiday rental in Fayence. Among the nine villages perched on the hill, Mons is the highest and it even offers a view of the Corsican coast. Once you get to the top of these hills, you will discover old stone houses, some of which date back to the 10th century. It's not for nothing that the neighbourhood is called Château-Vieux (old castle). A few kilometres further on, be sure to bring sunglasses: the mimosas in the village of Tanneron are adorned with millions of luminous little yellow balls with an intoxicating scent.
Let’s get rolling!
In Provence, petanque (boules game) is a bit of a national sport! You will not be able to escape it during your holidays in the Pays de Fayence. Come and challenge your neighbours on the residence's petanque court. So, "shoot or point"?
Tss tss tss tss... Do you hear the cicadas? They already offer you their most beautiful Concerto in B major: no flats, it's part of the package! Close your eyes and let yourself be lulled by this melody so typical of the South of France. Between the scents of lavender and mimosa, between the sea and the mountains, between pastis and tapenade, your holiday residence in Provence will bring all your senses to life.
Do you like thrills? The region is home to a gliding centre, ideal for a paragliding or a parasailing baptism in a Mistral wind. Would you like to discover the local specialities? If there's only one letter from Var to bar, it's not for nothing: the Var people are great lovers of their country's wine. From a fruity red to a refreshing rosé or a floral white, you will make discoveries that will change your life and you won't be able to start a meal without opening a jar of tapenade, anchoïade, brandade or tomato marinade.
Each accommodation in the residence Les Bastides de Fayence is oriented to receive the maximum sunshine in every season. Make an act of sustainable tourism by booking an eco-friendly Tourrettes accommodation at the residence Les Bastides de Fayence. It's the perfect place to start educating your children about the environment. Everyone will also appreciate a visit to the Ecomuseum of Fayence, housed in old flour mills, which is characterised by a very friendly and warm atmosphere. Why don't you settle down here for good?
This restaurant offers a simple and very cheap cuisine. It has a covered terrace with a view on the Esterel river and, in good weather, another terrace under the plane trees. A challenge: eat the XXL hamburger!
The Pays de Fayence includes 9 perched villages: Fayence, Callian, Mons, Tourrettes, Bagnols en forêt, Seillans, Montauroux and Saint Paul en Forêt. Each one more beautiful than the other, stroll from village to village and take a coffee break in the small flowered streets.
It is ideal to spend a day in the middle of nature while enjoying the pleasures of the seaside (pedal boat, sailing, kayaking, paddle, diving). You will also be able to make beautiful hikes and mountain bike rides (possibility of renting mountain bikes at the Okwide base)...
