But the surrounding villages are also worth a few visits. Take a tour around Villarodin and discover the astonishing leaning house (surely an abuse of toad liquor) and the fortified work of Saint-Gobain. To the southeast, do not miss the chalet La Repose, the restful place par excellence. You can try blue, green and red, but not in skiing this time, since these are mountain bike trails for amateurs as well as for the most experienced. How about going to see the Bourget Lake? Allow at least a day to reach the banks since it will take you almost 2 hours to get there. But you will not regret your getaway! Spend idyllic moments between the mountains and the romantic beach and let yourself be seduced by a nautical experience. The lake is indeed home to rafting, scuba diving and wakeboarding spots: enough to take you for Captain Nemo. 

To end your stay in Savoy, take a trip to the Dent Parrachee. No relation to the risk of losing a few teeth, it is the name of the Pointe de la Rechasse which was feminized to give "Parrachee".
