Do you prefer fresh water or salt water? No need to choose, with the residence Les Rives du Lac***! Nestled in lush greenery, it allows you to stroll on the beach at Lac Lacanau (one of the great lakes of the Landes region) as well as fiercely ride the waves of the Atlantic Ocean! And why not take the opportunity to discover the magnificent beaches of the Arcachon Basin? You will see: your apartment rental in Lacanau is really ideally situated! Quickly grab your beach towel and come and join us!
Welcome to the residence Les Rives du Lac***! In a natural setting, 100 meters from the beaches of Lacanau and 5 short km from the ocean, our team bends over backwards to ensure your comfort! You have the choice between several spacious apartments (4 to 8 people), all equipped with:
Besides, if you like beautiful views, think of our Cocoon Up apartments, perched in the trees with a beautiful 13 m² terrace and garden furniture. No need to know how to climb a rope: just take the stairs!
To relax as much as possible, also take advantage of the facilities of our 3-star residence:
A parking space is also available on site! You can also book a breakfast to be picked up at the reception using our bakery service (prices below).
Is Lacanau a humble Gironde village? No! Although it has retained its charm and its environment, it remains a very famous destination. Located on the Silver Coast, it can be divided into 3 main areas:
Also consider exploring the surrounding area: the Arcachon Bay is very close and it normally takes barely an hour by car to reach Bordeaux. In short: around your holiday residence in Lacanau, you will find plenty to keep you occupied!
The calm, the sand and your feet in the water ...
Tired of the crowd? Ocean side, head for Super Sud beach. As it is the furthest from the city center, it is also the least crowded and the wildest (but it is still supervised in high season). On the lake side, you will easily find a small "private" spot away from the main beaches...
Fans of nature, sport or crazy night parties among you? By opting for an accommodation in Lacanau, you will meet all expectations.
In terms of nature, you don't have to look far, Lacanau giving extreme care to protect its natural spaces! We particularly recommend the Berle trail. Over 2.5 km, it allows you to discover the marsh fauna: the opportunity to meet playful otters, gray herons and pretty water turtles. That said, the mythical Ile aux Oiseaux (birds’ island) of the Arcachon Basin also awaits you with open arms. Boat tours are organized to admire it and discover the "Tchanquees” Huts, amazing huts mounted on stilts...
For sports enthusiasts, there is surfing, of course, but also cycling, paddle, sailing, golf, horse riding and many other activities.
As for the night owls, they will find their happiness among the nightclubs, the dancing bars (and even just the bars) of the city. Notice to fans: Happy Hours are common!
Putting your bags down in a wonderful corner of nature, it's really tempting. But if you have the impression of ruining it during your stay, it will quickly spoil the pleasure... Rest assured! The Vacanceole Group is committed to an eco-responsible approach in its various residences. So many of them have already been awarded the Green Key Label: the residence Les Rives du Lac*** is one of them!
More concretely, this eco-label rewards establishments promoting responsible and sustainable tourism. Selective sorting, flow regulators on taps, use of local products… Here are some of the many actions implemented in the residence Les Rives du Lac***. Enough to allow you to spend a responsible AND pleasant holiday.
It is a restaurant run by the same family for several generations. Their specialty: seafood! You can go there with your eyes closed, father and son are fishermen. The fish is fresh, and you will have the choice also with some pieces of meat. Little advice: keep a place for dessert and artisanal ice creams O Sorbet d'Amour.
I advise families, if they want to enjoy seaside fun and swimming in complete safety, to go to the beaches of Lacanau Lake. The closest one is the one of Moutchic, at 5 min on foot. There you will find lawns, relaxation areas, pedal boats for rent and a secure sandy beach. A little further south-east, the Grande Escoure beach (5.3 km) also has a supervised beach for swimming and a sailing club.
This water park promises a lot of thrills by bouncing on a trampoline, sliding or running on its inflatables, climbing on a climbing wall or jumping from a catapult! Installed at the edge of the beach of Moutchic, it is easily accessible from the residence.
